Motic Product Warranty
1. Warranty Period
Educational Instruments / Microscopes

Electrical components: 18 months, or 12 months from the date of signing for receipt/acceptance, whichever comes first.

Optical and mechanical components: 5 years.
Scientific Instruments / Microscopes / Digital Slide Scanners
General Notes:
-
If no warranty period is confirmed in writing, it is calculated from the product’s ex-factory date.

Parts replaced or products returned for repair due to faults will receive a renewed 12-month warranty for the repaired or replaced parts.
2. Coverage
Normal Warranty:
-
Covers performance issues resulting from manufacturing or design defects, including electrical, optical, and mechanical malfunctions.
Exclusions & Special Instructions:

Consumables such as bulbs (halogen, LED, mercury), fuses, batteries, packaging materials, dust covers, etc.

Appearance defects:
-
Within warranty if detected during first unpacking and installation (photo evidence must be reported to after-sales service).

After customer acceptance and use, appearance issues caused by human factors are not covered.

Damage from human factors, misuse, negligence, accidents, improper use, modification, or failure to follow instructions.

Damage caused by natural disasters, war, or other force majeure.
3. Extended Warranty
Microscopes:

Customers may apply to extend the warranty up to 3 years.
-
Fee: 5% of the original product price per year.
-
Must be purchased at the time of product purchase.
Digital Slide Scanners:
