The SMZ-140 is the most versatile stereomicroscope manufactured by Motic. Although simple in nature, the SMZ-140 combines a sturdy metal construction with a high quality Greenough zoom optical system to produce a compact stereomicroscope for routine use or integration into larger instrumentation. The basic zoom system provides a zoom ratio of 4:1 and a standard working distance of 80 mm to support a wide range of applications; this can be further customized through the addition of different eyepieces. The Greenough stereo zoom system displays crisp, stereoscopic images while having the ruggedness to handle harsh environments of laboratories or work spaces with industrial machines, making it a long-lasting, reliable stereomicroscope.
