The rugged Greenough zoom lens configuration provides a powerful 6.7:1 zoom ratio giving a total magnification of 7.5x - 50x while still providing longevity in the harsh environments encountered in lab and industrial settings. Addition of available auxiliary lenses and/or eyepieces allows expansion of the magnification range up to 320x with a maximum possible working distance of 324mm.

Available accessories further enhance the versatility of the SMZ-168 stereomicroscope. Attachments for performing polarization and darkfield microscopy are easily added to the SMZ-168 stereomicroscope while a selection of stands, lighting options, and articulating boom stands enable the SMZ-168 to fit seamlessly into your workflow.
