BA310 POL
The Motic BA-310Pol is used to study the birefringence of specimens. Polarization is used in a broad range of applications such as biology, geology, mineralogy, industry and material science. Samples that are often observed are for example (Asbestos) fibres, foils, minerals, muscle tissues, gout crystals and many more.
The BA-310Pol comes with stain-free objectives and a stain-free condenser to ensure no optical interference from the lenses. Furthermore the BA-300Pol comes standard with a quartz wedge, a full λ and a ¼ λ retardation plate. The Bertrand lens, focusable, is placed in the intermediate tube.
